What are the application requirements?

To qualify, applicants must have a combined gross monthly income of at least three times the monthly rent, provide at least one year of verifiable rental history, and pass our credit and background screening process. Our leasing team is happy to answer any additional questions about qualifying or move-in costs!  

What fees are included in the application process?

There is a $50 application fee per applicant along with a one-time $200 administrative fee due during the application process.

Is renter’s insurance required?

Yes, renter's insurance is required at Solaris at Tucson.

Are utilities included in the monthly rent?

Utilities are not included in the monthly rent and will be billed separately. Additional utility charges may vary depending on usage and the specific services provided to your apartment home. 

Does Solaris at Tucson have a Fitness Center?

Yes! Residents enjoy access to our onsite Fitness Center, featuring a variety of cardio equipment, strength-training machines, and free weights.

Are there in-unit washers and dryers?

While our apartments do not include in-unit washers and dryers, residents have access to our convenient on-site Laundry Care Center.

What amenities does Solaris at Tucson have to offer residents?

Residents can relax by our swimming pool and hot tub, gather with friends around the fire pit, and enjoy community spaces like the game room or 50-person movie theatre. For those with active lifestyles, Solaris at Tucson also features a fitness center, basketball court, volleyball court, pickleball court, and a dog park!

What types of floor plans are available at Solaris at Tucson?

Our community offers both studio and one-bedroom apartment homes that are ideal for a variety of lifestyles.

Will my apartment have a dishwasher?

They do not include dishwashers, but the kitchens are equipped with a full-size refrigerator, oven range, and hood-mounted microwave.

 

What neighborhood is the community located in?

Solaris at Tucson is in Tucson’s Midtown area, near the historic Miracle Mile corridor and the Barrio Blue Moon neighborhood. Our community is positioned just north of Downtown Tucson, which makes it easy to access restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, while still having quick connections to outdoor recreation and the mountains.

What is it like living in the Midtown area of Tucson?

Our residents have a very “classic Tucson” experience. The area is known for its desert scenery, colorful local businesses, historic architecture, and laid-back atmosphere. Residents enjoy being close to Downtown Tucson, the University area, and several arts and culture districts.

Are there any universities nearby?

Solaris at Tucson is less than 10 minutes from the University of Arizona, which serves as one of the city’s major hubs for education, research, healthcare, and athletics. The community is also near Pima Community College, which has multiple campuses throughout Tucson.

What schools are Solaris at Tucson zoned for?

Solaris at Tucson is zoned within the Tucson Unified School District. Assigned schools for our property include Roskruge Bilingual Magnet School for elementary and middle school students and Tucson Magnet High School for high school students.

What are the best hiking trails located near Solaris at Tucson?

Solaris at Tucson is only a short drive from some of Tucson’s most popular desert trails. Tumamoc Hill Hiking Trail and Sentinel Peak Park ("A" Mountain) are nearby and provide quick outdoor escapes. If you are looking for longer or more rugged hikes, Pima Canyon Trail in the Catalina Foothills is a favorite for mountain scenery, while Painted Hills Trail has beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert.

Are there any breed or weight restrictions?

Certain breed restrictions do apply. The following breeds are not permitted: Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull breeds, Rottweiler, Chow Chow, Press Canario, German Shepherd, and Wolf Dog breeds.

What are the pet-related fees?

There is a $250 pet deposit required, along with monthly pet rent of $25 for one pet or $50 for two pets. Residents are encouraged to contact the leasing office directly for full pet policy details and any additional questions regarding pet approval requirements.

Is Solaris at Tucson pet-friendly?

Yes! Solaris at Tucson is a pet-friendly community and welcomes up to two pets per apartment home. Our community also offers access to an onsite dog park!

Is Solaris at Tucson located nearby any dog parks?

Besides our onsite dog park, our closest dog-friendly destination is Christopher Columbus Park, which features walking paths and a popular dog park where pets can run and socialize. Brandi Fenton Memorial Park is another local favorite offering shaded walking trails, grassy areas, and dedicated spaces for dogs.

What kind of parking do you offer at Solaris at Tucson?

We ​offer open parking on a first come, first serve basis for residents. This provides convenient access throughout the community without the need for assigned parking spaces.

What would my commute look like if I lived at Solaris at Tucson?

Solaris at Tucson sits directly along Oracle Road, one of Tucson's primary north-south corridors. The community is also only a few miles from Interstate 10, making it easy to travel throughout the city or head toward Phoenix. Public transportation is also available through Sun Train, with several bus routes running along Oracle Road and providing connections to downtown, the University of Arizona, and other parts of Tucson.
